That's a wrap for 2016
October Business Month (OBM) closed on a high, featuring an inspiring, engaging and enlightening keynote presentation in Darwin by Todd Sampson, non-executive Chairman of Leo Burnett and breakout star of hit TV show The Gruen Transfer.
This year's OBM calendar has seen more than 100 business events held across the Northern Territory to help Territory business to start.run.grow. Events were held in Alice Springs, Darwin, Katherine, Nhulunbuy and Tennant Creek.
OBM would not be possible without the valued support of the business community. We thank the following sponsors:
- Platinum: National Australia Bank and Charles Darwin University
- Silver: PwC's Indigenous Consulting, Merit Partners, Telstra Business Centre NT, Darwin Corporate Park and Sensis
- Media: Mix 104.9 and Hot 100, Channel 9 Darwin, Imparja, SunFM and 8HA, Territory FM and The NT News.
In celebration of local Territory businesses, OBM this year introduced Territory business heroes into the program who shared their stories and tips for success in business at OBM keynote events across the Northern Territory. These relatable, down to earth presentations were thoroughly enjoyed by attendees and OBM sincerely thanks our speakers who gave their valuable time:
- Darryl Thomas
- Helen Summers
- Tim Lambert
- Tom Falzon
- John Tourish
- Mary Linnell
- Anya Lorimer
